What with gigs, festivals, holidays and other stuff Come Down and Meet the Folks is taking a summer break from June till August, we'll be back in September. Here's who's coming up for the rest of the season...

11 May - Southern Tenant Folk Union, Old Lost John

25 May - Zervas and Pepper, The Hi & Lo
Zervas & Pepper are fronted by singer-songwriting duo Paul Zervas and Kath Pepper. Their very 70's soft rock/country rock style is reminiscent of bands like Bread, CSN&Y, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, America etc, with a bit of the old British pop feel a la Prefab Sprout, Wings, or even High Llammas.They sing great and they've got a mighty cool band. http://www.myspace.com/paulzervas. The Hi and Lo are two musicians and a boot full of instruments. Formed in 2007 they play stripped down original roots music.
